The Port of Trelleborg, Sweden, has received a Konecranes intermodal reachstacker for trailer and container handling to support the growing traffic at its intermodal terminal.
As the second largest of the five Swedish core ports in terms of tonnage and the largest railway port on the Baltic Sea, Trelleborg utilises two intermodal reachstackers to provide fast, reliable and eco-efficient services between ship and rail.
Thomas Ter-Borch, port operations manager at the Port of Trelleborg, said: “Intermodal traffic has been growing strongly in recent years, so it’s important for us to maintain our position as a leading intermodal hub.
