West Africa Container Terminal (WACT) has commissioned 16 new terminal trucks, aiming to boost efficiency and cargo handling operations at Onne Port, Rivers State, which serves the East Nigeria market.
With the acquisition and commissioning of the new terminal trucks, the facility, which is owned and operated by APM Terminals (APMT), now boasts 36 terminal trucks.
Managing Director of APMT Nigeria, Frederik Klinke said: “This is truly an amazing story in a terminal that has essentially renewed itself on existing ground, and now stands as a fully modern and fully equipped terminal.
