Santos Port Authority achieves record March volumes

Port of Santos recorded its best monthly performance yet in March, up from the previous record set in the same period in 2021, as it handled 15.3m tonnes. 

The growth occurred mainly in shipments, which reached 11.7m tonnes and exceeded the same month in 2022 by approximately 3%. 

Marcus Mingoni, interim CEO of Santos Port Authority (SPA), said: “The result obtained shows that the port continues on the path of increasing efficiency and productivity, consolidating its vocation as the largest port complex in Latin Aerica, strengthening job creation and economic development for the region and for the country.”
