The Port of Rotterdam Authority’s current chief operating officer Boudewijn Siemons will be appointed as its interim CEO from July 15, as the port extends the process to appoint a new CEO to replace Allard Castelein.
Siemons, who is responsible for infrastructure and maritime affairs, will combine both positions until a new CEO has been appointed. Castalein is stepping down as CEO this summer after nearly a decade.
Vivienne de Leeuw’s will remain as chief financial officer (CFO), with her term in office extended by four years.
