DP World cut direct carbon emissions from its global operations by 5% last year, as it looks to work towards its 2040 carbon neutral target.
Total energy consumption was down 4% and here was a 5% drop in gross direct CO2 emissions, according to the company’s latest Environmental Social and Governance (ESG).
The terminal operator is targeting net zero carbon by 2050 in line with the UAE’s 2050 net zero.
