Tideworks introduces virtual training tool for terminal tractor drivers at Manzanillo International Terminal
Tideworks has deployed its latest product DriverSIM, a virtual training tool for terminal yard tractor (UTR) drivers, at Manzanillo International Terminal (MIT) in Panama.
The solution incorporates virtual reality technology to provide terminals with a simulated, supplemental tool for their equipment training.
By moving training to a virtual environment, terminals can improve training accuracy and reduce training costs by 50%, according to the software developer.
