Vietnam’s Long An International Port has officially connected its seven berths and launched its container handling services after eight years of continuous construction.
Long An International Port is actively developing its container handling capacity and, to-date, has invested in six ship-to-shore (STS) cranes and 18 rubber-tyred gantry (RTG) cranes manufactured and assembled by Mitsui E&S Machinery.
Further investments will aim to constantly upgrade the equipment towards the port’s target of supporting 1m teu capacity.
