Three new Neo-Panamax ship-to-shore (STS) cranes arrived at Port Houston’s Bayport Container Terminal, as the port gears up for the opening of its newest wharf.
The cranes will work ships at Bayport’s Wharf 6, which is scheduled to be completed later this year and will improve the capacity of the port.
The units arrived following a 72-day voyage on Zhen Hua 29, a specialised heavy-load carrier vessel.
