Logistics company Duvenbeck has completed a test of a fully electric terminal tractor from Terberg, as it looks to switch its fleet to low-emission vehicles.
The test involved the tractor moving uncoupled semi-trailers at the factory site of a vehicle manufacturer.
Duvenbeck, which until now used tractor units powered by diesel engines to move trailers, will examine whether the test should be turned into a longer-term phase, lasting one year.
