The Port Equipment Manufacturers Association (PEMA) and International Cargo Handling Coordination Association (ICHCA) have announced a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to cooperate on mutual aims to advance sustainability practices and safety standards in the cargo handling sector.
The MoU will see each organisation work together via agreed actions and initiatives, meetings, sharing and exchange of information and ad hoc task forces to enhance their impact on topics of common interests.
The agreement provides a framework to pursue joint projects and despite there being no commitment of funds, future cooperation will enable each group to benefit from the common activities in furthering their strategies.
