Construction of new container terminal in East Java begins
DP World and joint venture (JV) partner Maspion Group have marked the commencement of the process to construct a new container terminal in Gresik, East Java.
DP World Maspion East Java, the JV between the Dubai-based operator and the Indonesian conglomerate, will operate a container terminal with a design capacity of up to 3m teu.
The JV will also develop an integrated industrial and logistics park, adjacent to the container terminal, with an initial land area of 110 ha and with scope for future expansion.
