Container port operator Générale de Manutention Portuaire (GMP) in Le Havre, France, has ordered another four Kalmar hybrid straddle carriers, with the order worth almost €5m (US$5.2m) and scheduled for delivery by the end of Q4 2023.
The eco-efficient machines help GMP, a subsidiary of the joint venture between investment company iCON Infrastructure and Terminal Link, reduce the carbon footprint of its operations, in line with its strategic goals, and significantly reduce noise pollution.
