SAGT joins forces with Aidrivers to deploy autonomous internal terminal vehicles at the Port of Colombo

South Asia Gateway Terminals (SAGT) has partnered with Aidrivers, an AI-specialist in autonomous solutions for port logistics, to deploy autonomous internal terminal vehicles (AITVs) at the Port of Colombo.

The collaboration will combine Aidrivers’ expertise in retrofitting ITVs with an AI-enabled autonomous ecosystem, allowing for the development of AITVs for container operations under a mixed traffic management environment within SAGT.

The project will help SAGT in its efforts to reach decarbonisation goals, enhance safety and resilience, to pave the way for the future of port automation.
