DP World Australia has revealed that the personal information of current and previous employees was accessed by an unauthorised third party during the cyber attack, which hit operations at its four terminals earlier this month.
The company’s investigation found that customer data was not affected and no ransomware was found or deployed within its network.
The terminal operator is notifying impacted individuals and has established a cyber response team to support them, while providing support services through its employee assistance programmes and organisations like IDCARE and Equifax.
