Success for CM at Seahorse Freight Journalist Awards

CM journalists Emmanuel Mair and Lacey Jones came out on top at the 2023 Annual Seahorse Freight Journalist Awards as winners of Technology Journalist of the Year and Rising Star of the Year, respectively.

Mair’s winning articles, published in both CM’s main and Latin America issues, showcased a wide range of technology present within the maritime field and offered an understanding of their potential impact on the industry.

The three articles covered the roll-out of Boxbay’s high bay storage system for its first commercial customer at Busan in South Korea, DockTech’s digital twin technology which provides a real-time 24/7 view of a waterway and the viability of Internet of Things (IoT) smart devices for monitoring dry cargo containers.
