The ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach have continued on their recovery path in terms of cargo volume, with double digit increases in container throughput in November.
The Port of Los Angeles enjoyed a 19% rise, handling 763,262 teu, representing the fourth consecutive month of gains in volumes.
Port of Los Angeles executive director Gene Seroka said: “Our year-end growth reflects the strength of the U.S. economy powered by the American consumer.
