Zim to equip dry container fleet with tracking devices from Hoopo
Zim Integrated Shipping Services has signed an agreement with Hoopo Systems for the deployment of tracking devices on its fleet of hundreds of thousands of dry-van containers.
The solution offers tracking information including geofence alerts and open/close door notifications, while aiming to ensure reliability and durability combined with significant cost and energy efficiencies.
In 2022, the Israeli carrier announced an investment in Hoopo Systems, which specialises in the development of tracking solutions for unpowered assets.
