Hapag-Lloyd has completed the acquisition of ATL Haulage Contractors Ltd (ATL), as the carrier looks to build its presence in the UK’s inland market.
ATL hopes that the deal will allow it to invest in carbon-neutral technologies, provide volume stability and drive cost synergies across the supply chain.
Established in 2008, ATL has a fleet of 120 modern trucks and a network of over 100 additional trucks from subcontractors, as well as over 250 skeletal, sliding, genset and multi-function trailers.
