International Container Terminal Services, Inc. (ICTSI) has been awarded a 25-year concession agreement by the Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) to develop and operate the Iloilo Commercial Port Complex (ICPC) in Western Visayas.
Located on Panay Island, Visayas Container Terminal (VCT), the new name of the facility after the handover to ICTSI is complete, is a gateway to trade in the Western Visayas but capacity efficiency constraints have hampered its potential.
VCT has 20 ha of land for container and general cargo storage, warehousing, and other cargo-handling activities, as well as an operational quay length of 627 m.
