Gantrex acquires Liftcom to expand port crane services portfolio

Crane rail specialist Gantrex Group has acquired port crane services (PCS) company Liftcom which will function as a second hub for the North-Western region in Europe.

The rail engineering solutions specialist aims to become a global player in the PCS sector and hopes that the acquisition will reinforce its position in the Dutch market and the Port of Rotterdam.

Liftcom mainly focuses on inspecting, maintaining, repairing and moving of new and operational port equipment, with its team carrying out load testing, periodic inspections, life cycle analyses, accident recovery and refurbishments of port equipment on a daily basis.
