Liebherr partners with Rijeka Gateway to supply remote yard cranes
Liebherr Container Cranes is set to deliver 15 electric rubber-tyred gantry (ERTG) and two rail-mounted gantry (RMG) cranes to Rijeka Gateway, all of which will be remotely operated.
The remote operation of the cranes will help to advance safety, efficiency, and sustainability of the terminal – a joint venture between APM Terminals (APMT) and Enna Logic located on Croatia’s North Adriatic coast.
Powered by busbar technology, Liebherr’s ERTGs include a drive-in auto-connect functionality.
