Owendo Container Terminal (OCT) in Gabon has commissioned a new bridge worth CFA2bn (US$3m), linking the wharf and the terminal, and aiming to streamline container movement at the port.
The new development links the quay located in the NOIP zone to the terminal situated within the Gabon Port Management (GPM) zone.
Laurent Goutard, managing director of OCT, said: “This new bridge between the historic facilities and the latest infrastructure of the container terminal is part of OCT’s desire to guarantee the highest standards to the various users and shipowner customers.
