Konecranes port solutions’ sales increase by 35%

Konecranes saw sales in its port solutions business increase by 35% to €1.4bn (US$1.5bn) last year, although the amount of orders received fell by 11% in a mixed year.

In the Finnish manufacturer’s ports business, comparable EBITA rose by 62% to €103m (US$111m).

Additionally, the order book grew by 7% to €1.7bn (US$1.8bn) and operating profit also increased by 148% to €95m (US$103m).
