APM Terminals Pecém enjoys strong fruit harvest season

APM Terminals (APMT) Pecém in the metropolitan region of Fortaleza saw year-on-year growth of 8% for the 2023/2024 harvest period, regaining market share in Brazil’s fruit export market.

Daniel Rose, CEO of APMT Pecém, said: “In 2023, APMT Pecém witnessed a significant year marked by remarkable growth. We achieved a record number of container movements at the end of last year, representing an increase of approximately 15% compared to the previous year.

“This achievement is also explained by the fact that we have regained a significant portion of the fruit export market in Brazil.”
