Kalmar and Forterra to develop autonomous terminal tractor
Kalmar and Forterra have signed an agreement to jointly develop solutions for an autonomous terminal tractor.
The Finnish manufacturer will be responsible for developing the automation-ready terminal tractor, including the drive-by-wire solution integration, and the One fleet management system to manage the operation of automated tractor fleets.
Forterra will be responsible for integrating its AutoDrive platform for autonomous operations for the terminal tractor.
