Zim made a net loss of US$2.69bn last year, as a weak market environment along with industry disruptions and operational challenges affected its performance.
The Israeli carrier was particularly dented by a non-cash impairment loss of US$2.06bn, recorded in the third quarter of 2023.
Yet, it also made a net loss in the fourth quarter of US$147m, compared to a profit of US$417m in the equivalent quarter in 2022.
