Africa Global Logistics (AGL) has signed the contract to manage the Walvis Bay Multipurpose Bulk Terminal on the southwest coast of Namibia, aiming to utilise its position to offer connectivity between Southern Africa, Europe, Asia and America.
Namport, the National Port Authority of Namibia, launched an international call for tenders in January 2023.
AGL, part of MSC Group, noted that it will facilitate access to Southern African Development Community (SADC) markets and invest in modern infrastructure to drive economic growth in the region.
