FBI opens investigation into Baltimore bridge incident
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has opened a criminal investigation focusing on the Baltimore bridge incident, and specifically whether the crew of the Dali left the port knowing the vessel had serious systems problems.
According to the Washington Post, officials are reviewing the events until the ship lost power, before it went on to collide with the Francis Scott Key Bridge.
On the morning of April 15, federal agents appeared to board the ship to conduct a search.
