Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (APSEZ) handled record cargo volumes of 420m metric tonnes for the financial year of 2024, which helped net profit double to INR8,104 cr (US$970m).
Revenue increased by 28% to INR26,711 cr (US$3.2bn), which was supported by a 30% jump in ports business revenue and 19% in logistics business, and EBITDA rose by 44% to INR15,751 cr (US$1.9bn).
Across the financial year, APSEZ handled 27% of the India’s total cargo and 44% of container cargo as the company’s domestic cargo volumes grew at almost triple the national rate.
