MAFI to retrofit terminal tractors with autonomous technology
MAFI Transport-System GmbH, together with technology advance developer Arnold NextG, will introduce the ability to retrofit all of its MAFI vehicle platforms with a multi-redundant drive-by-wire system.
In addition to promote the retrofitting of existing vehicles, MAFI intends to offer vehicle-independent solution, which makes it possible to control all driving functions digitally, to offer the plug-and-play solution developed by Arnold NextG for its T230 and T230e terminal tractor units in the next three months.
The first retrofitted vehicles have successfully passed the test and use in other vehicle platforms is planned for the near future.
