Copenhagen Malmö Port formally takes over 8 straddle carriers from Konecranes
Konecranes has officially handed over eight hybrid Konecranes Noell straddle carriers to Copenhagen Malmö Port (CMP) for its new container terminal.
Ordered in Q2 2023, the straddle carriers were delivered to CMP in Q4 last year and have been assembled and extensively tested on-site at the current container terminal.
Next year, the existing container terminal will be related a few km to a new and better location in Ydre Nordhavn.
