La Spezia Container Terminal calls for tenders in new terminal expansion project
La Spezia Container Terminal (LSCT), part of Contship Italia Group, has announced a call for tenders for the construction of the first phase of the new Ravano terminal to help advance its terminal expansion plans.
The expansion aims to increase LSCT’s handling capacity to 2m teu and improve the use of rail, with a goal of reaching 50% of the total throughput.
Matthieu Gasselin, Contship Italia Group CEO, said: “We are adding an important element into our strategic development plans through which LSCT aims to become a reference point in global trade dynamics by conquering new traffic shares.
