Marsa Maroc has signed a 25-year concession agreement with the Port of Nador West Med (NWM) to operate the Eastern Container Terminal, which has a capacity of 3.4m teu.
The operator’s Supervisory Board authorised the signing of concession documents on June 25 for the terminal, which features 1,520 linear metres of quay, 18 m depth and 70 ha of yard.
The facility will also be equipped with 15 ship-to-shore (STS) cranes and 45 rubber-tyred gantry (RTG) cranes.
