A global IT outage caused by cybersecurity firm Crowdstrike has impacted operations at ports around Europe, including the Port of Felixstowe and Baltic Hub Container Terminal.
The problems were caused by an update to antivirus software that impacted Microsoft services, which has also affected the banking, media and airline sectors.
The Port of Felixstowe reported that it had been impacted by the tech failure but was working to restore full capacity.
