APMT Rijeka Gateway to utilise private 5G network
Rijeka Gateway, a joint venture between APM Terminals (APMT) and ENNA Group, is set to adopt a next-level private 5G campus network as part of the terminal’s commitment to environmental responsibility and technological advancement.
Due to begin operations in 2025, Rijeka Gateway is a completely new, ground up development with no legacy LTE network which will make it Croatian telecommunications company Hrvatski Telekom’s (HT) first installation to use Stand Alone (SA) architecture.
Rijeka Gateway will use the HT public mobile network for its predominantly remotely operated electric equipment.
