ICTSI’s TecPlata becomes Argentina’s first carbon neutral certified port
TecPlata S.A. (TecPlata), the Argentinian subsidiary of International Container Services Inc. (ICTSI), has become the first port in the country to obtain carbon neutral certification.
The certification underscores TecPlata’s commitment to reduce its carbon footprint, promoting responsible resource use, and offsetting unavoidable emissions through certified carbon credits, which support the development of renewable energy sources.
TecPlata’s greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions will be monitored annually.
