Visayas Container Terminal (VCT), International Container Services Inc.’s (ICTSI) operation in Iloilo, Philippines, is set to receive two new mobile harbour cranes (MHCs) in preparation to handle larger ships.
The facility has undergone significant transformation in the six months since ICTSI took over operations following the grant of a 25-year concession by the Philippines Ports Authority (PPA) in April.
Timothee Jeannin, VCT executive director, said: “VCT is far from the terminal we took over six months ago. We’ve not only improved the facilities but also grown our team to over 240 organic personnel, who undergo continuous training to ensure top-tier service.
