Container volumes at Valenciaport rise by 19% in August

Valenciaport has recorded a 19% year-on-year increase in container volumes to 468,059 teu for the month of August. 

Additionally, 6.3m tonnes of goods passed through the port’s terminals, which is up 3% on the same period last year. 

An increase in exports was recorded in bulk (5%) and containerised goods (19%) but the balance on the last twelve months is a slight decline of –0.65%, while the cumulative export since the beginning of 2024 has grown by 2%.
