PSA Penn Terminals receives third Liebherr STS crane
PSA Penn Terminals in Pennsylvania has received a third Liebherr ship-to-shore (STS) crane, complementing the two that were commissioned in 2018, which is designed to significantly boost operational efficiency and capacity at the terminal.
The new STS crane features a 157 ft outreach, a 60 ft span and a 50 ft backreach with a lift height of 115 ft over rail and a safe working load of 66 tonnes.
John Brennan, president and CEO of PSA Penn Terminals, said: “This new Liebherr STS crane once again demonstrates our lasting commitment to being one of the best equipped, privately owned container terminals on the US East Coast.
