APMT extends concession for terminal in Aqaba, Jordan
APM Terminals’ (APMT) concession for Aqaba Container Terminal (ACT) in Aqaba, Jordan, has been extended by 15 years until 2046.
The company has operated the terminal in partnership with Aqaba Development Corporation (ADC) since 2006.
Included within the extended partnership is an investment of approximately of US$242m as well as development plans aimed at, among other things, reducing emissions and reaching net zero by 2040.
