International Container Terminal Services Inc.’s (ICTSI) East Java Multipurpose Terminal (EJMT) in Lamongan Regency, Indonesia, has officially opened for business.
Construction of the terminal began in March 2023 and took 18 months, offering a 300 m quay line, deep water draft of 13.5 m, a 500 m swinging basin, and state-of-the-art equipment for bulk, project and containerised cargo.
EJMT CEO Patrick Chan said: “Strategically located in Terminal Umum Tanjung Pakis – Pelabuhan Brondong, alongside Lamongan Shorebase, the new terminal will provide another option for our customers in Lamongan, Tuban, and as far as Central Java, serving both their domestic and international trade requirements.
