Edvard Molitor, the Port of Gothenburg’s head of international public affairs and sustainability, has been appointed as thew new chair of the International Association of Ports and Harbors’ (IAPH) climate and energy committee.
Molitor is the port’s primary representative in global organisations on sustainability, climate and environmental issues.
He said: “IAPH is a key agenda setter, and as the ports’ voice within the International Maritime Organization (IMO), we have the opportunity to influence and accelerate the implementation of new technologies to foster the international shipping sector’s sustainable transition.
