HHLA receives two new gantry cranes at Container Terminal Burchardkai

Hamburger Hafen und Logistik AG (HHLA) has received two new container gantry cranes Container Terminal Burchardkai (CTB) on November 20 aboard the Zhen Hua 27 ship. 

The new cranes are among the most modern in the world and are capable of handling ships with a capacity of up to 24,000 teu. 

Each of the two cranes are 80 m tall and features jibs that are also 80 m long, spanning a total of 26 container rows, and will replace the previously smaller models at the terminal.
