The ports of Los Angeles (LA) and Long Beach report double-digit growth for container volume in November, handling 884,315 teu and 884,154 teu, respectively.
For Long Beach, November volumes were up 21% from the same month last year and surpassed the previous record set in November 2020 by 13%, meaning the port is on track to reach 9.6m teu by the end of 2024.
Imports at the Port of Long Beach grew 22% to 432,823 teu while exports were up 10% to 119,083 teu and empty containers were up 25% to 332,250 teu.
