PSA achieves record 100m teu annual throughput

PSA International has achieved a new annual container handling record of 100.2m teu across its global port terminals in 2024. 

Its flagship terminal in Singapore increased throughput by 6% to a record 40.9m teu while PSA terminals elsewhere contributed 59.2m teu, rising by the same percentage. 

Peter Voser, group chairman of PSA, said: “2024 has been a year of measured recovery for the global economy, shaped by ongoing geopolitical conflicts, trade tensions, national elections, fiscal pressures and fluctuating interest rates. Despite the challenges, we are proud to have achieved this important throughput milestone for the group.
