Visayas Container Terminal welcomes its first gearless vessel
International Container Terminal Services, Inc.’s (ICTSI) operation at the Port of Iloilo, Visayas Container Terminal (VCT) welcomed the first gearless vessel to call in the Western Visayas region.
The call has underscored VCT’s enhanced capabilities following the delivery of two brand-new mobile harbour cranes (MHCs) as part of ICTSI’s commitment to expanding and upgrading the terminal’s facilities.
VCT’s new cranes are designed to handle the latest shipping requirements, thus allowing VCT to serve the larger gearless vessels.
