MSC launches reefer tracking and monitoring system
MSC has launched iReefer, a remote tracking and monitoring solution for reefer containers which aims to improve decision-making processes and manage supply chain more efficiently.
Available 24/7 on the myMSC eBusiness platform or via an application programming interface (API), iReefer gives customers quick and easy access to real-time insights about the shipment, including position, temperature and humidity.
Benefits of the system include real-time monitoring of reefers reducing the risk of damage and loss, temperature control ensuring conditions inside the container are optimised for temperature-sensitive cargo and increased efficiency due to data-driven insights and predictive analysis.
