Port of Tanjung Pelepas orders 58 eRTGs from ZPMC
Port of Tanjung Pelepas (PTP), a joint venture between MMC Group and APM Terminals (APMT), has signed an agreement with Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industry Co., Ltd (ZPMC) for the purchase of 58 eco-efficient electrified rubber-tyred gantry (e-RTG) cranes.
The new cranes are expected to be delivered in five batches, with delivery scheduled between March and July 2026.
The contract is part of PTP’s ongoing expansion strategy to ensure the port is equipped with the latest technologies and equipment to better serve its business customers as Malaysia’s leading transhipment hub.
