Matadi Gateway Terminal enhances infrastructure and capacity
Matadi Gateway Terminal (MGT) International Container Terminal Services, Inc.’s (ICTSI) operation in the Democratic Republic of Congo, is due to undertake several key projects in 2025 to enhance its operational efficiency and customer service.
One of the major initiatives is the construction of a 2.65 km road linking the Port of Matadi to the Kinkanda traffic circle via Services des Entreprise Pétrolières (SEP) Congo and the Route Nationale (RP).
The project consists of building 906 m of new road and rehabilitating 1,746 m of existing infrastructure.
