Africa Global Logistics secures €230m funding for Congo Container Terminal expansion
Africa Global Logistics (AGL) has secured financing of €230m (US$250m) for the expansion of the Congo Container Terminal at the Autonomous Port of Pointe-Noire.
This strategic project provides for the construction of a new 750 m quay by 2027, thus strengthening the port’s competitiveness and its key role in regional trade.
The financing was supported by Crédit du Congo, Attijariwafa Bank, EcoBank, Banque Commerciale Internationale, Banque Sino-Congolaise pour l’Afrique and BGFIBank Congo.
